This Saturday Niagara on the Lake will be in full musical swing as it marks the 4th Annual PETESTOCK Music Festival!
A fun and talent-filled event, PETESTOCK is a perfect celebration of homegrown music with an altruistic focus. There is a fee for admission and there is a fee for alcohol, but it’s important to note that these collected funds are going to Red Roof Retreat for a charitable cause.
Great music and charity? Sounds like a perfect combination to me!
This year their line-up of talent is particularly exciting:
My Son The Hurricane
Lambs Become Lions
Ivy Coast (formally The Greg Mashinter Band)
King and Academy
We attended last year and can promise you won’t be disappointed by this event. It’s a very relaxed environment and feels more like a neighbour’s party than anything which is kind of awesome since last year saw around 300 people in attendance.
Peter Goertz, the very talented bassist from Theatre Crisp, organizes the entire festival. By working with local sponsors he has been able to continue this festival and hopefully for many years to come.
Check out the PETESTOCK 2013 Facebook Page for further details. Don’t miss it!
