We decided to wrap up Niagara Wine Festival in a fast-paced Discovery Pass blitz. Visiting three wineries in one day can be a challenge but definitely marked under the ‘fun’ category.

A unique voice cried out to us this weekend when we perused the Niagara Wine Festival guide – Legends Estates Winery. Offering a pairing AND donating to charity? A must-visit spot!

What better way to kick off Niagara Wine Festival 2012 than by dropping to Montebello Park for a celebration of wine, food and activities?

Canal Days is a Marine Heritage Festival and although it definitely had a marine theme, it wasn’t the only thing you’d find. It lasts for four days and most events are free (including shuttles).
